People or a person can copy an idea, they can even copy other people’s actions, but they can NOT copy a vision because that is something only you can see. No one can duplicate your passion, your motivation, your dedication. NO ONE on this planet has the same exact “why” as you do for whatever it is you’re working towards.
My new journey was to start a blog and share parts of my life with you all. I wanted to share my experiences with you, my knowledge, and my perspective on certain areas of life that I can relate to. So yes, there are hundreds, thousands maybe even millions of women out there that are deciding that they also want to start a blog right now as a type these words. They may even be thinking about starting a blog about woman empowerment, being a mom and trying to survive the grand game of “life”. What does that have to do with me and my journey? Absolutely NOTHING. No one has the same life experiences as me, nor do they have the same reasons I do to push forward and get what I want. This applies to everyone, not just moms or women! So what if you saw 100 new content creators on Instagram last week? So what if your sister’s best friends cousin just launched a new online candle store and you’ve been thinking of doing the same for months now?
All you’re doing is giving yourself an easy way out, an excuse to not do it. How silly does it sound when you put it into perspective… “I’m not going to start writing that book because I saw two of my friends on Facebook post they were working on publishing a book”. SO WHAT? Don’t let anyone or anything keep you from exploring new endeavors as you journey through your life’s purpose.
According to EarthWeb.com; “There are over 600 million blogs and over 1.9 billion websites worldwide. There are over 6 million blog posts published every day and more than 2.5 billion every year”. Yet here I am publishing my blog post because it is important to me. My purpose or experiences are not the same as the other 6 million bloggers that also posted a blog today! You’re not an imposter because you want to have a career that others are pursuing. Would you still feel like an imposter if you wanted to become a doctor, nurse, police officer or teacher? The answer is no, you wouldn’t feel that way even though there are hundreds, thousands, millions of people choosing those career paths every day!
No one can copy your energy, your drive, your purpose, your motivation, your willingness to fight, your energy or your creativity. So, bottle all that shit up and go get what you want. Give it your all, be consistent and keep your eyes on the goal…nowhere else!
