Discover Circus Of Life: Mom Edition
Hello
Passion Makes Perfect
Dear Friend,
I started Circus Of Life: Mom Edition with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences. What started out as just a crazy thought has evolved into a dynamic site packed with information about various topics that are near and dear to me.
Let me start by saying this is a safe place for everyone, especially for women. I’m an everyday mom with two kids, a wife and three dogs. I am not a licensed therapist, nor do I hold a degree in any type of mental health profession, but I am a woman that has experienced many ups and so many more downs. I am a woman that has researched so many different methods to navigate each new season that passes through.
I wanted a space to tell you about my experiences, share different things that have helped me through some harder times and hopefully give you a little laugh on a sad day. Most importantly, my hopes are that I can help a few other women while on this journey. As time has gone by, I have noticed that sometimes we take situations that we are in and isolate them to just us. When we can see or hear that others are going through or have gone through the same things it makes the light at the end of the tunnel slightly brighter.
I hope that you take this unfiltered journey with me of being a mom but more importantly being a woman. Take some time to explore the blog and see for yourself what makes you curious and eager. Read on and enjoy!
With Love,
Your Friend Christina PH.
Journaling
Help Your Mind Take A Break
“I can recapture everything when I write, my thoughts, my ideals and my fantasies.”
“I can shake off everything as I write, my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.”
-Anne Frank
There is a certain power when you can take the thoughts, feelings and expectations in your mind and transfer them onto paper. This is an action that can release energy from your body onto a piece of paper and leave it there.
Take out a notebook, journal, scrap piece of paper, or anything that has space for you to write and just start writing. You can write what comes to mind as it comes, or you can write as if you were writing a letter to someone. However you choose to write, it will still help you clear your mind of the million things that are taking up valuable space. Don’t believe me? Try it.
Need a journal? We got you…
